2021 Phi Beta Kappa Book Awards

The Phi Beta Kappa Society recently announced the winners of its 2021 Book Awards. Two of the prize shortlists featured a biography as a contender. For the Phi Beta Kappa Award in Science, Galileo and the Science Deniers by Mario Livio (Simon & Schuster) was shortlisted. Eddie S. Glaude Jr.’s Begin Again: James Baldwin’s America and its Urgent Lessons for our Own (Crown) was shortlisted for the Ralph Waldo Emerson Award for studies of the intellectual and cultural condition of humanity.
